ANCHORAGE, Alaska – A unique groundbreaking event for a new First National Bank Alaska U-Med Branch will be held Friday, March 21, at 11 a.m. Building construction begins this spring and is scheduled for a December completion. The event will be at the snow-covered project site on the southwest corner of Providence Drive and Piper Street in Anchorage.
Representatives from First National and the project team will use gold shovels to break snow, indicating the project kickoff. A ceremonial commercial loan closing will occur on site, signifying the first loan closing at this new branch.
