04/21/2014 - Tudor Bingo Center Project Update: April 2014 (Newsletter)
Tudor Bingo Center has reached substantial completion. Nanuaq Development, Criterion General and kpb architects continue to assist the Tudor Bingo Center staff as final touches are made to prepare Tudor Bingo Center for operational opening.
The building’s interior sheetrock, taping and painting was completed. The ceiling grid, mechanical trim and lighting have been fully installed. The restroom tile and wall coverings are complete and restroom fixtures and partitions were installed. The hood for the kitchen was also installed.
Chugach Electric completed final line work to the transformer for permanent power. Rooftop mechanical units are in place and were tested. Criterion coordinated with Tudor Bingo Center’s security provider to install cameras, with Criterion completing all necessary wiring. All doors, door hardware and flooring was installed. Exterior signage was installed by Glacier Sign and Lighting.
The canopy soffit and fascia material was installed. Manifolds and heat tubes were installed and the sidewalk has been completed.
Paving and landscaping are expected to take place in early June and be completed in early July. Pfeffer Development's property management team is assisting Tudor Bingo Center with a circulation and parking plan to ramp up for opening day. Pfeffer Development is also working with Tudor Bingo Center's staff to plan a grand opening once the landscaping and paving are completed this summer.
